For Listening Paper 4 English, these tips are applicable:

Diligently listen to English podcasts or watch English movies, for me personally I like to listen to horror podcasts when I do my task or other activities.

Always look up for new unfamiliar words. In listening test, the speaker tend to use unfamiliar, bombastic words that we seldom hear. Hence, always look up and learn new words.

During listening test, always be alert and pay attention. Make sure your mind is emptied and only focus on the speaker.

Make sure you hear it correct, be alert as I stated. For example, some words may use “s” behind it and it makes it sounds different. Try to differentiate like “opportunity” and “opportunities” or “appetiser” and “appetising”.

If you still meet up with your peers and English teachers, try to practice talking in English and listen them talking in English too. Normalise yourself hearing English language.
